Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia Requirements / Qualifications:
A PhD or at least a master's degree in biology, genetics, or a related field of study and experience in the field
Good personal and communications skills - having the ability to communicate with a team of scientists in the lab and beyond is essential
Understand the regulations and guidelines of DNA/RNA handling
Meticulous attention to details
Basic knowledge of equipment and facilities related to genetics technology
Job Scopes:
Research, Plan & execute DNA/RNA extractions on various samplers and tissues
Perform DNA/ RNA quality control, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), genotyping and microarray experiments
Perform laboratory experiment with minimal supervision, setting up new instruments, learning and developing new procedures
Keeping detailed laboratory logbook, prepare reports and update summaries for managers and teams as and when required
